  1. Any employee who is eligible and decides to run for political office must certify to the President that he/she will not campaign during duty hours or involve the College in any way.
  2. Any employee who is elected to a part-time political office must certify to the President that this office will not in any way interfere with his/her carrying out the duties of his/her position with the College, or will request personal leave to do so.
  3. Any employee elected or appointed to a full-time public office will be required to take a leave of absence, referred to in Section 3.7.6 (Leave of Absence), upon assuming that office.
  4. Employees are prohibited from soliciting support for any political candidate during regular work hours or on College property.
